"Chanson triste": P. I. Tchaikovsky ABRSM Violin
I played this for my grade 5 violin examination. I was quite nervous as it was my first time recording a violin examination. The piece started off sombre with delicate melodies and beautiful harmonies on the piano. It later blossoms and ventures into the higher ranges, then decrescendos into a lulling melody just like the start of the piece.
