1st Place Award, Poster Competition, MIT AI and Education Summit, USA, 2024
I had the honour of attending the prestigious MIT AI & Education Summit 2024, held from July 24 - July 26 in Cambridge, MA. The Summit, hosted by the MIT RAISE Initiative, brought together 400 attendees from over 30 countries, featuring expert speakers, AI workshops, and the highly anticipated Global AI Hackathon challenge.
My team’s project, "Cost-Effective Smart Household Water Usage Tracker Using IoT," was celebrated for its innovative approach to water conservation. Our poster was selected from over 80 posters submitted, with only about 20% (< 20) making it to the Summit.
