1st Place, ‘Hack the Climate’ Hackathon (Beginner Category), MIT AI and Education Summit, USA, 2024

At the MIT AI & Education Summit 2024, our group coded and pitched our app idea, "Trash to Treasure," which was designed to help Singapore households reduce their carbon footprint by 20% by promoting the reselling, upcycling, recycling, or proper disposal of waste items using AI and machine learning.

We managed to clinch the 1st place in the Beginners’ Open Category, even though our team members were only 11-12 years old, the youngest participants in that category.
